FastCounterbyBCentral Why is my fast counter not working now on my website? It has not worked in over a week....anyone else having problems. Please advise. I always try to contact BP but I never receive responses anymore.......I'll try this.

Thanks so much Carolyn! :) I tried Bravenet and they say they do not do fast counters......kinda strange! Then I tried again and I was forwarded to Microsoft Office website...Thanks for your help!

Here's the reply I got from Jay... Hi Carolyn- Microsoft fast counter stopped allowing sign ups well over a year ago so we posted a new fast counter provider in the fast counter admin page. I heard that Microsoft just recently decided to stop service on all of them. They should have emailed each owner, but since I didn't have one I can't confirm that. The bravenet one listed in your admin center works well. I'm sure a google search will reveal others as well. Thanks,

I just noticed that mine wasn't working either. (Yeah,...I can be a little slow sometimes.) I did a quick search of BP's Q&A and found this thread. I'm really P.O.'d!! Bob

Hi Bob... I think you can set the amount of hits that you had previously on the Bravenet counter. I too had close to 11,000 + hits before I realized it was discontinued. I wish we were notified tho! I installed the Bravenet counter once and did not like the looks of it...so I took it off. I would have liked to have designed my own hit counter as they claim, but I cannot find a link on how to do it! I also would like to view my stats personally and not have it displayed on the actual homepage :( Oh well........thanks for the email!

You can set the Bravenet counter to whatever starting number you want. After you sign in, just go into "Manage my counter", (I think that's what it's called)on their website. You can set it back to your 15,000 hits.
