website

I am trying to put music on my site, I am using box.net. How do I connect my song to the url? I am so confused. Also, can you not put the song througout or just one page?

Thanks so much,
Kelly

I think you might be able to include the song with html code. I don't really know how box.net works. What kind of site do you have?

I have just the basic deluxe one from Better photo. I know that you have to use url, I just dont know how to apply it or get it. I am really "dumb" at this stuff.

Thanks!!

  You are already baying box.net?

How do you want the music to show up? As a downloadable file? As a link which plays the file online? As background music?

Actually, I would like it to show up in any form. I would really like for it to be as back ground music. I am not paying for it, I think you get up to 1mb free.

Thanks!

I'm not such a website what-ever-it-is that I know how to add background music, but there probably is html code for it. (Maybe I'll find it online) Or if not that, to link to the address of the uploaded file. When you upload the music file, do you get a url? When you type that into the address, what do you see?

I use ifp3.com for my website hosting, and you can include background music with that, but I think it's more expensive than bp.

Actually I'm pretty sure it's javascript. But I'm only going to further investigate for you if you promise me you're not putting some god awful midi music on there, or something similar. :P

Javascript is another thing in web pages that modifies how it works. Like you can set javascript to make a page open in a pop-up window by doing something (I don't know exactly how it goes) like (javascript:open:www.google.com). I don't know how your song sounds, but if Danielle does and likes it, maybe she can help you with the script.
