Flash for Nikon N75

I have just purchased a Nikon N75 and am wondering what kind of flash to get with it. I've been looking at the Vivitar 730AF because it has TTL, but I really know very little about flashes. I use the camera mostly for events and travel photography. Does anyone have any suggestions of a reasonably-priced (I'm a student!)dedicated flash?

Go to KEH.com and look at used flashes. They are a repudable and honest company. They have a lot of Nikon flashes for VERY cheap. It is like Ebay without the worry. My suggestion would be to get the SB-50 (a good light-weight flash without a lot of frills) or maybe an sb-28 (dx if you want to). It is a little higher level flash but a good one.

Just about any Nikon Speedlite will work with your N75. However, flash technology advances constantly, so only the current crop of flashes will be able to take advantage of all the neat flash TTL modes available with your N75 body.
Sunpak and Vivitar have long been in the flash manufacturing business, and either would be fine. Metz is another good line. However, I'd stick with a Nikon Speedlite if you can afford it.
