Landscape lenses I am currently using a Nikon F75 with a nickon 28-100mm lense I would like any info on a suitable lense for landscape photography

I'm not sure what your budget is, but the AF Nikkor 24mm f/2.8 will give 84 degrees field of view. Great for landscapes. It also has Nikons Close-Range Correction system (like their Macro Lenses do), so probably good for close-ups too. A lower cost alternative is the AF Nikkor 28mm f/2.8 @ 74 degree field of view. I own one of these, and am more than satisfied with it. Although your existing lens at 28mm may be comparable (probably about 68 degrees), the 28mm is faster (F2.8), has better optics, and is fixed focal, so you won't have to worry about zoom creep. You should be able to pick up a good used one for $100-150USD. Best of Luck!

Forgot to mention.... You should try to get the "D" version of either these lenses if you can, rather then the older non-"D" versions.

You don't wan't just a "wide angle" lens for landscapes. What you've got is a good start however, I do recommend you get a faster lens for those close-ups where you can blur the foreground and background. Also, a 200mm telephoto (either zoom or prime) makes for a great landscape lense. They allow for compression and will get you in close.

I would for sure go with either a 24MM or a 20MM. The 20MM, if you really want to draw your viewer into the picture, but both are very, very good. I have both in the AIS version and have been more than pleased.
