Photography Question

Nikon Macro 60mm f/2.8 vs. !05mm macro f/2.8

I need a macro lens mostly for shooting close up floral shots. Nikkon makes two such lenses, each f/2,8.

I am aware of the advantages of greater telephoto capability with the 105mm lens.

Is it worth the extra money to purchase the 105mm lens? Are both lenses necessary, or at least highly suggested.

P.S. I will use lens for non-floral subjects as well.

Thanks

Frank

Hi Frank!
I would recommend the 105mm lens. For better versatility you might want to consider a 28-105mm zoom lens!
Try bhphotovideo.com or keh.com!
Both of these companies have an extensive used equipment department!
Take a look at my gallery, most of the florals were taken with a 28-105mm lens!
