What Lurks in Shadows?

What Lurks in Shadows?

---
This image was shot yesterday at the long-closed Eastern State Penetentiary (now a museum) in Philadelphia.
---
I could not see through the window panes in the door until I had the image on my computer and brightened the darker panes using Photoshop LEVELS. Then the figures and objects in a closed corridor appeared. But wait! The placement does not make sense and I am still baffled.
----
I'm SERIOUS!
-----
(On another note: Have we returned to the BP days of very selective distribution of Editors Picks?)

Had to make the photo brighter--it was to difficult to discern the images in the dark window panes.

This is VERY cool, Michelle. This really conveys the mood of the ESP beautifully. Love it.

  Very interesting, lovely photo.
I was also wondering about the editors picks. Thought I was not uploading properly.

I love the mysterious appearance found through the lens of the camera. Well done Michelle. (I am sad to see some excellent photos being bypassed by BP...not sure what to think.)

Ghosts, Michelle. No doubt about it.

And yes! I agree with you on the EFP's! I loved my Fairy image and no EFP. What gives? So much worthy work of everyone's is being passed over now. (Because of the free galleries coming back?) Not right, i.m.h.o...great images just "out of the game"?? I am just glad we have our camera settings option back while uploading images!!!

Great job and eerie post processing discoveries!

-Laura :)

Love this capture, Michelle! A place I've always wanted to visit, and apparently, a very popular one for photography. The answer to your EPs is "yes". Read the March EP discussion under forums - it is huge!

A FAN-BLOODY-TASTIC shot no doubt about that! Looks like a museum quality piece of art. As far as the figure....well they certainly say those places are haunted by wronged inmates etc. So who knows!?! You may have just captured an entity~perhaps think about sending the "proof" to one of those haunted collectors? Never know they might even pay you some decent $$ for it? Myself I would do a little research as o what may have happened in that cell/room, that alone may answer some questions
Jeff
