BERNARD HOPKINS,three-time and two-Division World Champion & oldest (48 yrs) fighter in history to win a World Championship, held a Media Workout earlier this week in Philadelphia in advance of his March 9 world championship bout against undefeated IBF Light Heavyweight WC Tavoris "Thunder" Cloud.
----
In this shot, Bernard's trainer is wrapping his hands in preparation for his workout. About twenty reporters and photographers are surrounding him, thrusting voice recorders and cameras in his face. All were taller than I (or closer), and to get this shot, I was invited to CRAWL under a TV videographer's tripod.
---
Am I anyone's intrepid photographer of the week?

This was an experiment using one of presets of TOPAZ Black & White (2), newly released.

I'd like to know if anyone installed it and then had to uninstall and re-install the PhotoFXLab plug-in. I did and had a bad experience which TOPAZ has not sorted out yet. DARN! I can't use PhotoFXLab now, and I REALLY liked it!

Interesting name for such a fierce(but-also-noble)-looking man, Michelle. Both photos are well-shot, especially after that nice man let you get on your hands and knees to move in closer...Intrepid is an excellent adjective in this instance.

He will win this fight. I love reading about all you had to do to get this shot as usual, persistence is rewarded with a gold winning picture. I love the intensity of his face as he gets ready to do some more work out. Love your people photography Michelle. Have a wonderful weekend my friend.

Nice portrait, great tones! PS - the bridge was originally a railroad bridge used to haul copper ore from the Kennecott mine. It is vehicular now but only one lane. I walked it a couple of times. There is a catwalk below the deck that you can also walk on.

Another terrific B&W portrait of this star athlete,Michelle - it was well worth the effort to capture him! I recently installed Topaz's B&W_2 (which is a big improvement, I think), but I don't have PhotoFXLab. They seem to have a lot of problems with it, however.
