At the FLOTUS (First Lady of the United States) rally in Philadelphia Thursday afternoon, I was standing on a "riser" that had been set up for photographers directly to the left of the stage. To my right was a set of stairs giving access to the bleachers behind me.
----
This handsome young man was sitting, alone, on the stairs, out-of-bounds to the public and pretty much out of sight. He must be a relative either of one of the speakers or one of the organizers. He and I exchanged glances, and when I lifted my camera with its 70-200 F2.8 lens attached, the boy perked up. I got down on one knee, pointed the camera at him between the stair rails, and clicked. I liked both the black and white and color version.

Terrific expression and great tones, Michelle! PS - When we were in the Dominican Republic we saw people washing clothes on the front porch in big tubs and hanging them on the fence to dry. Their whites were just as bright as ours.

I'd go w/the color version. Both are great
The facial features are so soft I would have bet this was a girl.

He is handsome too, he has lovely facial features. I myself prefer the black and white version. You always do such amazing work with your B&W's. Superb portrait Michelle.
