I was realizing it's been a while since I introduced myself, or perhaps re-introduced myself, So here goes. I'm Larry Lawhead, and I'm in my second stint here at Better Photo. I was here back in the 2003-2009 time frame, but left for a while because life intruded. I've been back since late 2020, and really love it here. I've been taking photos for a rather long time, but that's another story!
Photography-wise: I have a preference for B&W, nature and decay (anything showing the impermanence of mankind). But I'm not exclusive to anything. I'm a strong believer that the best camera is the one you have with you, and that the creative process doesn't end with pressing the shutter. I've lived in the middle part of the USA (SW Illinois) for over 30 years, with time previously in Washington DC area, central North Carolina, western Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
