I've been shooting for almost two years now and I've found that my main subjects are animals and nature.

I'm currently seventeen years old and enjoying life to the fullest.
Growing up I've always loved looking at family pictures, picking out the ones I liked most. I'd laugh at pictures of my cousin and I doing crazy things. Hiding in boxes and running about. Those were always my favorites.
My photography journey began in 2003 when my mom bought our first ever digital camera. I had three cats at the time, and two of the three each just had a litter of kittens. They were my main subject, what I loved to photograph. As time went on my love for photography grew and grew, and I wanted to learn more. I stumbled across Betterphoto.com and learned a lot from the amazing photographers here.
In 2004 I got my own digital camera, a Fuji A210. It inspired me to experiment a lot more. I stretched from millions of pictures of cats to nature and macro. At the time, I'd been viewing some of the work at DeviantART.com and was extremely impressed, but a bit nervous to enter such a huge community. I went through with it, however.. and I'd be no where near where I am now if I hadn't.
I recently got a Canon Rebel (I'm sticking with this one for awhille.. really.) and I'm continuing to learn with it.
As for the future, I really would love to make photography a career and hopefully i'll be able to achieve that goal.
