well ... hmmm ... I don't relate to this pic at all ... so i'd love to say that's the reason I don't find it intriguing and just go on ...

But there's something nagging at me about it. ... Maybe if I just sit still and look at it from only the technical side.

so ... to me ...

Overall:
---It seems that the lower third of both segments are more in focus than the figures in the ring ... at very least the seem more defined.
---something about the lines of the ring ropes feels off ... maybe too dramatic of a break.

In the left segment:
---there's a blob of something ... oh the other coach's elbow ... very distracting.
---i keep feeling the subject is too far away
---maybe the fighter is too centered.

In the right segment:
---the glare of the light creates such a different spot ... it's the "one of these things is not like the others" syndrome ... in this case, my eyes want to go around it and I end up looking at the boy outside the ring.
---is the fighter in the center of this segment?

okay ... now ... submit the rooster so that all I have to do is say "ooohh so pretty" and I can just be drawn to it without having to think ;)

have fun,
