Somehow it reminded me of the aluminum bridge (over the old Erie Canal bed) that replaced a dilapidated covered bridge, that I had to cross to get to school as a second grader. The school sent home a letter the first winter of the new bridge's existence, imploring parents to tell their children NOT to LICK the bridge. It's TRUE. There were several cases that winter of tongues frozen to the bridge!

Well, even the NHL's all time best shootout goalie couldn't do it for us last night in Nashville. Matthieu Garon was 18-4 in shootouts over his career with a 13 game win streak but went down 4-3 in a SO last night. #8208746
