Interesting use of framing to combine this symblic look into the new age from within an older piece of architecture. #1196540

It isn't often that we have a native-born Californian visit our State - one who captures a beautiful image of OUR bridge!

Thank you for showing us off so beautifully! #8159738

Thank you so much, Kathy and Phyllis! Kathy, this was my first visit to your beautiful state. Didn't know what I was missing all these years! :-) #8160340

What kind of tickled me is that so many Michiganians hit California for the weather and beauty - but rarely the other way around. I'm so happy you enjoyed your stay. #8160372

Actually, Kathy, I was on a travel writers' tour of the Upper Peninsula. Writers came from all over the country (I probably came the farthest). I'll be writing a travel article (along with my photos) for MotorHome magazine next summer. :-) #8160404

Be sure to let us know. Amy Hopp just visited the UP in October for the first time; Heather McF is from near Mighty Mac, and I go up North a couple times a year. Add us to a lot more Michigan Members - and we'd all love to see your article. #8160648
