But was I was wondering about the shadows. I am new at this and just started my own business, ill prepared of course. I just got lights today to prevent these kind of shadows. now I am not trying be critical at all.I just picked this one as I got the lights to prevent shadows. Where do I put them up? I have backdrops and lighting. #984565

Thank you so much for looking and the kind comments,
The shadows will be decreased the further the subject is from the backdrop
or by using a backlight on the background.
With my portrait we used a scenic backdrop so you would not use a backlight because it usually washes the scenic backdrops taking a way from the scene.
We unfortunately also were working with a very small amount of room, being in a tent at a Rodeo.

So again, back your subject away from walls or backgrounds or use a backlight between the subject & background.
I do hope this helps,
