Description

This is a new mother showing off her baby. Taken in Las Vegas through an underwater veiwing area in the Secret Garden where they have an extensive breeding program. Camera set with no flash on sport mode to stop action as they swam. Nikkor 18-135mm lens zoomed in. This photo can be viewed in person during this years Puyallup Fair upstairs in the Exhabition Hall.

Nice capture, Lori. They are so cute. Love the black and white. I was there last year visiting. Neat place. My daughter just moved from Vegas to Jacksonville, Fl three weeks ago. She is so much closer to me now. Only four hours away. #1180340

Thank you, Kay! Out of many shots taken of these two, this is the only one that came out nice and clean with a nice pose. I was there the end of May while they were having a heat wave. Only got 2 and a half days which was not nearly enough time to see everything but was plenty of time in tempratures over 100 degrees! I would like to go back when the weather is cooler and spend a week with my camera. #7942124
