Description

A tribute marker dedicated to George D. Wick of Youngstown, Ohio. Wick perished on the RMS Titanic, in the Atlantic Ocean on April 15, 1912 after striking an iceberg. Wick was a prominent personality in the Youngstown area, & the founder of Youngstown Sheet & Tube. He was 58 at the time of his death, & was last seen on deck waving to relatives, as they boarded the life boats. Desaturated some, Virtual Photographer, & slight crop. Image shot at Oak Hill Cemetery, Youngstown, Ohio.

How interesting Pamela and well captured. We visited the Unsinkable Molly Brown House in Hannibal, MO she was on the Titanic but survived. #1177298

The last survivor of this tragic event passed away this year...

We'll be celebrating the 100 Anniversary of the Titanic sinking soon.

She sank on our Anniversary...April 14.

Thanks for reminding us of this momentous event...with this man's untimely passing.
