Hey Vicki... he is adorable... great capture and caption!!!! Into my Favs.. love him!Vicki L. Filippin August 20, 2009
Thanks, everyone! Honestly, when we saw him, it totally looked like he was in the doghouse for something! A few shots later, he stuck out his lower lip like he was pouting, then a few minutes later he leaned forward, put his elbows on the ground and had the palms of his hands on his forehead. Something tells me he REALLY ticked of the wife!Christine Lobsinger August 20, 2009
Thanks Vicki for your above comments...I can really picture him doing ALL THAT!!Chris Ebben August 20, 2009
Maybe he is jealous of the dolphins over there getting all the attention & not him. (In our paper was an article about someone suing the Chicago zoo because the dolphins were encouraged to splash spectators & a woman fell in the water) He certainly looks in trouble=^..^= #7873718Vicki L. I hadn't heard that about the dolphins, Chris, but that attraction has been shut down for like a year or so. When I purchased my season pass this last visit, I was given vouchers for the dolphin show for 2011. That's a shame about a law suit. That zoo has had dolphins since I was a little girl and we all KNEW that if we got to sit up front we were gonna get wet and that was part of the fun of it. If it's true that a woman fell in the water, it's highly unlikely because of a splash! There's like a 3.5-4 foot cement barrier around the arena to make sure peeps don't get too close. During a show, sometimes the handlers will allow a spectator to feed the animals, but again..that wall is just too tall to fall over unless she was doing something she shouldn't have been doing to begin with. #7874826Chris Ebben August 21, 2009
You always get some-one who will complain. Over here we have a small animal park & the best thing is when the seals go up through the people watching the show & give a lovely fishy kiss to a few. Our family always hoped to get picked, where as some others hid or complained. You would ask, why are they there!!! www.petporpoisepool.comLeslie McLain June 13, 2010
