I'm always amazed at the way birds can perch on just about anything.

You'd think he'd weigh down that thin little plant, wouldn't you? Neat capture, Pamela! #1167859Carol Sawyer August 13, 2009

Wonderful capture of this little guy, Pam!! I always thought it was pretty amazing how they could land on just about anything and not go crashing to the ground! Tonight I got to play with baby quails, pheasants and ducks. When I held the baby pheasant it was like picking up a feather. There is just no weight there at all. These little guys must be that way even as adults, cause I guarantee you, adult pheasants do weigh too much to land on these little branches!! #7846408Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
