The BG colors are wonderful- I like the splash from the transverse leaves. But watch out DM, dropping things into water can be addictive! #7838962

Thanks for all the comments, and Brett for the suggestions. I think I'll pass on the watermelon :-), and I'm not sure about eating the onion afterwards, but certainly other possibilities, and beverages, come to mind... as long as we don't get too carried away, right Carol? #7842945

JO ANN CLEVELAND August 15, 2009

Ohhh Randy! I love this, both of them! I have done a few and know that you take a lot of shots before you get the one you like!

That background is awesome!

Description

It was interesting, and somewhat disappointing, to note that tomatoes don't make much of a splash or bubble drag going into the water (actually 7UP used here). The only air drag from these cherry tomatoes (direct from my garden :-) was from the calyx. This is unlike strawberries that "trash" their way in (posted in the discussion) because the round waxy skin of the tomato makes going in smooth compared to the rough seedy surface on the strawberry. Photography is so much fun and instructive :-)...
