You are so good, Dolores. These every day shots are works of art--really. I know these are not easy but you really nail them all. Great work!! #25377

I agree with Murry, Dolores. And what a great title!! #63844

Murry's right! You hit a home run here! #63854

Carol Sherman May 26, 2019

Yes...I agree wholeheartedly too! There must be an echo in here.lol Another winning shot!!! #63870

Dolores Neilson May 26, 2019

Murry...I can't tell you what it means to me that you can appreciate the difficulty of this shot. I chased this guy all over town...and I can imagine that by the time I felt confident with my shot, he thought I was stalking him!! Not to mention, he was probably concerned for my safety since some of the roads hadn't been plowed yet and I was on them trying to beat him to it! OK, you can all have me committed now! I value your post immensely..much more than I can express. Thank you so much!

Hi Joy!! Thanks so much! How nice to you to take time to post! I'm so delighted you approve of the title!

Hey there, Carolyn! Thank you so much, dahhling!! You're always there lifting and acknowledging my work! You're the best!

And Carol...THANK YOU so much for another comment...and another smile! You have become like family to me now! We "talk" almost every day!! Happy day! #63878

Dolores- Love this one so much I dragged my husband over to the computer to see it. LOL Great job- be careful! :) #63957

Dolores Neilson May 26, 2019

OH Kathleen...that is so complimentary! THanks so very much for that the gift of your post today! Yes, I'll be careful...I believe I drive very safe. I allow myself 4-5 times the braking distance on days like this and I'm in 4 wheel the entire time. #63963

This is indeed a very good picture and not easy to catch just right. I'm not sure if I would have liked a frame with a touch of colour to cut all the white, or if that's exactly what makes it even more interesting!! #64176

Dolores Neilson May 26, 2019

Hi Mette! Thank you!! I value your opinion very much!! You bring up a very good point. The fact is, I created this to be used with NO frames (not even Betterphoto's) on a white site page. My goal was the continuity of the snow on my image.... extending to the white of page..giving the illusion the snow plow could plow out onto the page. But as you can see, the frame causes confusion for the viewer. At one site where it was entered, there are no frames on their white page and it appears the plow is pushing snow out onto the page. Hope that helps understand. I whited out those borders on purpose! #64196

Hi again, Dolores! Thank you for your kind words and good explanation. I see what you mean. #64326

Judith G. Secco May 26, 2019

Dolores, this is another great one!
You really captured that flying snow and I love the road in the background.
Nice work,
Judy #65136

Dolores Neilson May 26, 2019

Greetings again, Judy! Thank you so much! I broke all compositional rules with this shot because I WANTED the flying snow AND road! Now I have my subject in the center!! It's always great to hear from you, Judy! I appreciate your time very much! #65159

Dolores, I’ve looked at this photo a couple of times ;-). It’s one of a kind! And I like everything about it! I can’t stop looking at the color of the road behind. I love the colors here! (What is it – tritone?)

Thank you so much, Monika! I can't tell you how many shots I had to take of this plow...you don't realize how fAST they plow! I chased him around all over my town... when I got there, I'd still miss my shot! I converted to B&W and I believe a duotone was used (if I recall correctly). I appreciate your kind post, Monika! Happy shooting with that G1!! And looking forward to seeing you in the winner's circle! #66130

Hello again Dolores! You had quite a run this month kiddo! This is a great action shot....the "whites" blasting at the viewer really help make it a powerful image! Congrats and congrats again! #83100
