May I Reconnect You?
Uploaded: July 17, 2009
Reconnecting to the past - in more ways than one! This is from the telephone exhibit at the Clinton, Iowa Historical Museum.
("It's been a long strange trip to the cell phones of today!" And you have to wonder too, how old-fashioned those will look in time!)

I have been watching episodes of Frasier on DVD and they go back to the mid 90s and the phones look like bricks. So the change is quite quick really. And I wonder how many children these days would recognise the ring of a telephone as opposed to the electronic tone the now emit. Aah. Technology marches on so quickly!Nadya Johnson July 17, 2009

Thanks so much for your great comments, everyone! I am going to have to cut back on comments for a bit myself, because my neck and shoulders are completely out of whack and sitting at the monitor too long is not an option til it goes away! #7750479Carol L. Fowler July 17, 2009
