Description

ISO 100, f5.6, 1/250 sec, Canon 28-135 IS lens at 135 mm, handheld. Serendipitous shot, not posed. Was walking on the Seattle waterfront looking for good sunset foregrounds and saw this subject. Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains in the background. CONCEPTS - Spirituality, balance, harmony.

Thanks, everybody! This was an interesting study in not being too focused on something specific. I was looking for the normal waterfront stuff - boats, piers, etc. and almost walked past the sunset yoga person without realizing the potential. When it did hit me, it seemed to take forever to get the camera turned on! John #1302029

Thanks, Cora! After I finished shooting her I walked to a nearby spot and did some other (much more mundane) shots. A guy who had been watching me shoot (I hadn't seen him) came up to me then and somewhat incredulously said, "I thought for sure she was modeling for you. Did you just stumble onto that?"
