Hi Amalia,
As always, it's great hearing from you! Yes, the zarapes were imported from Mexico ... the dealer I bought them from here in town (northern California) didn't mention where, but I'll bet you're right!

Thanks for the nice comments, Amalia - much appreciated. The outstanding colors and patterns sure caught my eye. I added a hat from our little ranch for added visual interest - with the subdued color and curve contrasting with the serape's bold colors and strong diagonal lines.

This close-up scene was shot in late afternoon sunlight. I also tried a little later - early evening - but the low-angled sun cast shadows in the wrong places. Sometimes getting the right light takes experimenting :-) ...
