Description

This is a portion of Waikiki Hawaii as seen from the Ala Moana's Magic Island park.

It is very unusual for anyone to venture into the water on foot here but the tide was so low the kids had a blast at the last few hours of the day.

This image was captured on July 4th 2009. I white balanced the camera with the sun itself. Yep the Nikon D2x has that awesome feature. I also admitelly boosted the color a few clicks.

I confess.... I did not want to represent the exact colors as I saw them. I am not a craftsman. I am an Artist and this is my interpretation of what looks pretty to hang on the wall.

I hope you understand.

Enjoy.

psst. If you look carefully on the left side, I accidentally caputured a rainbow that I didnt know was there.

You outta love this place. Come over to visit us. we still have the aloha spirit.
