Description

Went on a waterfalls photo hike with fellow BPer and skilled photographer Ken Jarvis and caught this close up of the Tiffany Falls at full strength.
Of course, a mighty downpour the night before probably helped :-)

1/2 sec @ F/29, ISO 100, 34mm fl.
Aperture Priority, W.Balance @ Cloudy, circular polarizer, tripod and remote shutter release due to overcast conditions and slow shutter.

Thank you very much Michael, compositional elements are my strong suit- so anything that makes me slow down and really think about my technical is very beneficial to me, lol.
This waterfall image did that. I'm glad it paid off :-) Thank you.

Thanks Adam!!! Did you know that Hamilton, Ontario (where this was taken and where I live) is actually called the Waterfalls Capital Of The World? We have almost 100 falls in the area... over 40 of them very accessible to the public! Anytime you're down this way, we'll take you around!

Just lovely!

I had no idea there were so many waterfalls around Hamilton - although it makes sense when you think about it.

My mother-in-law lives in Kitchener - maybe I will get a chance to slide over towards Hamilton on a visit to her some day.
