Playing in the sand

Description

This assignment was much harder than I had anticipated. My attempt was to do close ups of a baby (almost 1yr) but none of the photos turned out well mostly because the light and backdrop was not good enough. Obviously that is my fault, but I didnt have the confidence to be in charge (the baby's mum is a pro photographer - my mistake, but instead she gave me some really good tips). So then I had to rely on my children again... We live in the desert (more or less) so there is sand everywhere. I took my youngest daughter out early evening and just had her to play around in the sand. I adventured with my camera and tried manual setting so I could get a bit faster shutter speed and still keep wide aperture. This time I used "daylight" for wb, though I can see in Properties that it shows manual. I choosed square as my format because I think it is very nice to the eye.
