This is very cool, Trine! I think it's my favorite. I don't know how you do these, but they are great and very creative! #22858

Thank you Joy. It's actually a result of bad norwegian winter-weather. Everything is grey outside, and have been for quite a while.

So, I started exploring small objects at home instead, and felt the need to learn how to control the light better.

This particular photo is taken on our dinner table, infront of the window. On top of the table I placed a large mirror, found what I could get of lightsources arond me(one hanging from the roof, one lamp behind and one in front, ordinary lamps from the livingroom).

I placed a transparent red folder in front of the lamp in the back, to get a warmer tone and some color.

What you see on the right side is a glassbowl with ridges. I thught it would make some interesting lighting effects. Last I put a roll of transparent slide(for overheads)in the back, and placed the marble in.

I tilted the camera a bit, to get a more dynamic appearance of it all. I adjusted color balance, contrast and USM a tad in PS, and that's about it.

The weather stinks here too, Trine! Wonderful use of light, objects and space. The color arrangement is stunning. Oranges and tans were a good choice for this. #54003
