Actually, this handsome semi-dormant skink was captured nearby and positioned on what I thought was an interesting perch for this intimate portrait.

Those fleshy growths are some form of tree fungus which I've been un-successful in identifying.

I've attached another photo taken from a different angle that shows the fungi in more detail.
