Rainforest Gorge
Uploaded: March 29, 2005
Oneonta Gorge in Oregon's Columbia Wilderness resembles a Utah slot canyon dropped in the middle of temperate rainforest. Lush and ever-dripping walls of ferns and moss line the deep cavern above Oneonta Creek. Canon 17-40 lens, Fuji Velvia 50 RVP, Polarizing and 2 stop GND filters. Bogen Tripod. Exposure 2 minutes at F19.

I would call it Emerald Gorge. Such a rich image. Absolutely lovely light and reflection. I am so impressed with all the locations you have visited Marc. You must be extremely fit!! #1217309Sharon Day July 19, 2005
Beautiful image, Marc!!! One of the things that's incredible about this one is the fact it's a 2 minute exposure and no one tramped through the scene in front of you! I love your gallery and the fact you state what filters you used or not! #1609470Ken Grooms August 16, 2005
