WOW! Great macro, birdie! What an eye to see this and such skill to portray it like a landscape of canyons! The shapes and colors look like they could be hand carved and painted. Very well done! #22438

Wonderful color combination, depth of surfaces, and aged feel. Could look at this for quite some time.
Is this natural tree bark? Austrian Pine, maybe?

Yes, Gregory, this is all natural pine bark, photographed from a tripod in macro settings with nikon coolpix 5700.

Conrad: I have had the camera since August, done some 2800 shots till now. It is a great camera, though semi-professional, but offers a veriety of good features. One simply has to learn what it is capable of or not. But so far I like it very much!
