Uploaded: February 26, 2009

Description

Sunset over Joshua Tree National Park, California.

You have to be careful when shooting under these conditions! People often discover the arms from these cacti hitching a ride on their clothes, resulting int he name "Jumping Cholla". You often don't notice right away that you've brushed up agianst one... it's as if they jumped up onto you!

This is awesome, Jeff. Love your low pov, the endless sky with clouds leading in, colors and detail. Just beautiful! #1089823

You don't have to warn me twice! I got into some of those in November of '07 and I still hsve little bumps on my arm where they got me. One went through my shoe and I was trying to scrape that one off with a stick when I got another one on my arm. They DO jump! I'm a believer! #7221385
