I think I might take the little piece of grass out of the big one's mouth because I couldn't tell whether it was on the grass itself or in her mouth. I think if the DOF were shallow and the grass was hanging out of her mouth it would be perfectly fine. Just call me anal. But it surely is a lovely, vivid and sharply focused image. I LOVE your cows, Joan. #1081956Aimee C. Eisaman February 10, 2009
I love cows! I especially like the cute one with the horns! :P I never would have noticed that about the grass if Debbie didn't point it out, but now it is jumping out at me! I would have left more room on the left, but I'm guessing that is where #3 was! A cut caputure with the barn in the background! :~) #7151377Jeanine M. Bailey February 10, 2009

A couple of real cool cows Joan. When I saw the straw in the mouth I thought of my old neighbor right away. He always had a long straw or toothpick between his lips. Now if there was a cooler of beer between them, the image would be complete. #7151722Joan E. Hoffman February 11, 2009
Thank All... I debated the grass, but decided to leave it when I first was looking at this. I think it's kind of a COW TRADEMARK lol! # 3 was half shadowed, and admittedly I took the lazy route and cropped him rather than mess with him.I did however get an X-rated shot unwittingly, while shootin another cow looking back at me... almost fell off the chair when I saw it!
