Description

Nikkor 18-70 D ( 38mm ), 4 sec, F 6.3 ISO 200. Shot just after sunset using a tripod. The bridge is called "Centre Street Bridge" and divides Calgary's east and west side. The Bow river that the bridge crosses divides the north and south. Calgary, primarily an Oil and Gas town sits at the edge of the Foothills to the majestic Canadian Rockies and is located approx. 1.5 hrs. east of Banff, Alberta.

An interesting sidenote: Rent the movie "Exit Wounds" with DMX and Steven Segal, and you can see this bridge and city up close. ;) #226216
