Lake Tahoe Sunrise

Description

This is where I caught dawn as I was making my way down towards Mono Lake to catch the full moon rising at sunset. Fortunately in the Winter I can reach this spot for dawn and still "sleep in" until 5am.

I took a spill on an icy trail on the way down to the water, landing hard but fortunately not breaking anything (limbs or gear). The last time I visited this place I sprained my ankle and fell in the water... not a lucky spot for me!

Wow! This is beautiful. The colors are amazing. Love the reflection. Hope the spill wasn't too bad. #1076022
