These are the last steps leading down to the main entrance of Machu Picchu - and very late in the afternoon I just about had the whole place to myself except for a few stray llamas. Amazing!

Thanks Anne and Patrick for your comments. Visiting Machu Picchu was a fantastic experience and it's virtually impossible to capture something a little different from everyone else. Having said that, over 10 hours spread across 2 days I think I photographed every corner, step, terrace and rock! #6752040

Every month, with our camera in hand, we go out and find what we hope will be the “winning photo.”
Those of us that don’t get recognized, just continue to search for that special image, until one day the Congratulations come pouring in from some of the best artist and friends anyone could image.
So to the Better Photo winners for the month of September, I congratulate you on a job so well done.
My very best to all of you, Merna Nobile
