Jim- I am so glad your not selling your works, or maybe you are, cause my walls would be covered with your exceptional and amazing capture of wildlife. Love the work you do.Carolyn J. Connolly November 12, 2008
This is a beautiful wildlife image, Jim - the selective depth of field, tones, details, lighting, textures and sky all are just superb!! :o)I'm just wondering, though, if a portrait format crop here might not be a better choice...that way you could place the buck in the righthand side of your image... He would then be looking *into* your image, rather than *out* of it - what do YOU think, Jim? You could also crop out a little more of the sky to make the buck more prominent in your image...
Of course, this is just my opinion, and you might be quite happy with the way your image already looks, but I'd be interested to hear if you try a different crop, and what you then think of that!! :o)
I just took another look through some of your gallery images, and your wildlife ones are especially attractive!! Keep up the great work with your photography, Jim!! :o) #6748094
