New Orleans Swamp Tour

Uploaded: November 06, 2008

Description

Taken a few years back with a 1.3 MP Camera. Wish I had my Nikon back then. I am posting this photo just to show that even young Gators want to bite humans. See his mouth open wide. Just hissing away. He let us handle that gator, but he put a big rubberband round his mouth so he could not open it to bite. This tour guide was one of the best I ever had. Bill

He CRAZY, Excelelnt capture!!!
It's amazing how a rubberband can keep their mouth closed. #1030680

Their strength is in biting down Peaches. No strength to open their mouth. Bill #6718522

Thank you Janet and Carol for your nice comments. Yes that guide was great. He showed us where they snatched a bunch of baby gators. One kept Mama busy while the other snatched the eggs. He said those will have a better chance at survival because so many critters eat baby gators. Mama does protect them. Bill #6719799

Thank you Jo Ann. You can hold their mouth shut with just two fingers if you don't let him wiggle out. They have no power to open, but do they have the power to close. Like a shark at least. Bill #6876849
