A Thrill and a View

An autumn sunrise over the Niagara Gorge.
Built in 1913, the Whirlpool Aero Car takes visitors 250 feet above the most turbulent waters of the lower Niagara River. Travelling the 1800 foot span (in each direction) one crosses the US/Canada border four times and can get breathtaking views of the gorge and the whirlpool rapids below.
It's difficult to gain perspective from this view, but the waves in these treacherous waters are 15-20 feet high!
