Thank you for the kind feedback Linda, Craig, Jim and Joanne. Craig - I'm guessing Mandy is about 10 years old now. Adopted her from a shelter many years ago. She's a great little dog!

Thats awsome Jill, We have two dogs and two cats... all adopted! Well, actually, we were adopted by one of our cats, so I guess that makes us "his" people! I have adopted two dogs, buddy (who's waiting at the "Rainbow Bridge" www.rainbowbridge.com ) and shadow who's still with us, then my wife adopted Bailey who came to live with us and we were trying to evict some mice that were squatting at our house so we got Ty, our orange and white kitten (who's now a teenager... full of attitude..) and then Cody turned up at our door one day and never left.. we tried to find his owner because he's so sweet.. but after a few weeks of flyers and news paper ads... nothing. I think his owner was a couple streets over and went to live in a home for the elderly and he got left to his own devices.
So.... needless to say, I will never buy from a breeder, store or puppy mill... Adoption.. it's just a better way to go.
