You are first Peaches and thank you for your nice comments. Thank you Anita for your nice comment. I had to cance The Caddo BP Shoot due to illness in my family, but when that is cleared up I will make a Caddo trip on my own. I don't live far from there. My daughter is within 30 miles. There is so much to shoot at Caddo and I should get some alligators there. Bill #6472838

Love all your Bayou shots. They all look so dreamy.
Hope you fared well thru the storm. We even had it's wind effects up here in Ohio. Can't imagine what you folks down south must have felt. #6477627

Bill Knaps September 19, 2008

Thank you Mary. We thought the storm was gone. the wind got so bad after the storm was north of us. I looked online at my hurricane tracker and Ike was way up north, but had a tail on it's right side that ran all the way down into Louisiana. That tail has some very bad storms in it. Bill #6477646

Donna R. Wageman September 19, 2008

Beautiful, beautiful. How long does it take for the algae to grow back?
You watch out for the alligators ----- that's a no, no . #6477659

After that hurricane it will probably take a couple of years Donna. Thanks for your nice comment. Bill #6477674

We had 70 mph sustained winds here, which is really rare for us, ..glad you are ok though. I guess it could have been a lot worse. We are all lucky I would have to say. We only lost one tree on top of a shed and a big mess in our yard of limbs. We can't complain though. #6477813
