Description

I was trying out a gold blue polarizer for the first time. I toned down the magenta cast tremendously in post processing. The filter has its specific times when it can be used when it can enhance a scene and times when it can produce unwanted out of this world results. I would recommend taking shots w/ and w/ out it if you decide to try one out. F16 6secs iso 100 gnd filter Montana de Oro State Park Los Osos, California

Awesome shot! Truly fabulous scenery, colors, and composition. Can't believe I'm the first one to discover this. Definitely should be in the running for a prize. #982993

Well the light and colors are stunning, Steve. I love the diagonal lines of the rock strata, too; they add a lot to the dynamic impact of the composition. #6335887

Thanks Jean, Nikki, and Mary. Montana de Oro is my favorite California State Park to photograph on the Coast. #6337160

Another beauty Steve! The B&G filter works here, especially with the PP touch-up... this doesn;t have the typical garish look that can come from that filter. One little nit... would the rock in the ULC work if you dodged it a bit? The FG has a great pop with the lighting, and my eye kind of yearns to see a little more luminance in the top left. But other than that this is a super capture! #6339257

Beautiful image and cool, if unexpected, result! I was wondering if it's worth picking up the B&G filter. I've seen some great results. I guess it's good to know that it takes some practice to learn the way it works with light. #6415147
