Lovely image, Joan. I like how you have the subjects surrounded by water. Great capture and very cute as well. And look, you have nice reflections. I am rarely lucky to get reflections and might not participate in that challenge. #982752

Thanks Debbie, Just redid some travel shots from a couple of years ago ( I never did any editing back then!).

What Challenge ....? Did I miss something, lol! #6333839

M.Christine Duncan August 19, 2008

There's a challenge???

Anyhoo, This is a great capture Joan and slightly humorous, lol... great use of the light and the environment, your DOF lets us see all the lovely water - sooo clear looking!!! Awesome! #6333925

Debbie E. Payne August 19, 2008

Didn't we have a "reflections" challenge, or am I going nuts?????.....Maybe not, because this next challenge is something ordinary, isnt' it? It's been a tough couple of weeks.

Beautiful caputre. They're posed so well - it hardly seems real. Was this for the Imaginary Images Challenge?
Just kidding. :) ~et #6334493

This is a beautiful scene Joan! Is this the Topaz filter? I downloaded a trial, but have yet to play with it! Trying it on a portrait...not sure how it will work with that. Anyway this is such a peaceful and bright scene! I love the feel to this! Nicely seen and captured!!! #6336406

Joan, I absolutely love this. I'd be so excited to capture something like this.
The row of birds is nicely placed on the bottom 1/3. The vertical lines of the trees give energy to the shot. The water and reflections below and above the birds brings is all together beautifully. #6336602

Thanks Jodi, Aimee, Irene, Gail, Angela and Sherry. Yes this is the Topaz filter again, but messed around with it a bit more. Have always like this shot a lot, but just needed that extra kick!
Aimee, when you play with it, start it and leave... it takes awhile, and if you try to do anything else it freezes your computer up! But its worth the wait :) #6339615

Ulysses A. Villamin August 21, 2008

STUNNING! I am speechless, Joan :) What kind of effects did you use? #6341790

The clarity of this image is amazing #6352469

Joan E. Hoffman August 22, 2008

Ulysess, thanks... am messing around with a new filter, Topaz adjust... which I am thinking about buying, but then... so is everyone I told LOL. So maybe, maybe not... still have a couple of weeks left so will play some more.

Sharon, belong to a few clubs, so usually rotate, but sometimes just get busy, so take the lazy way out.

Thank you so much Bonnie and Molly! Always really liked this image and will try it on a few more older images, taken with my old point and shoot. #6353446
