DeSoto National Wildlife Refuge
I explored this part of the Refuge that is open only 1 month a year for mushroom hunting and found this quiet field.

Everything about this image is beautiful, Derrald. I love the field of flowers in the foreground, the building with its end glowing in the late afternoon light, and that beautiful sky. What month did you take this? I'll have to try to remember for next year :) #6258744Derrald R. Farnsworth-Livingston August 01, 2008
Kitty and Nikki, thank you. Nikki, I took this in May. This is the eastern side of DeSoto near DeSoto, Nebraska on this side of the river. #6258755Vladan D. Djordjevic August 10, 2008
