I love these bayou images the most, Bill! Is there a lot of birds and other wildlife that visit the bayou? #6199345

Bill Knaps July 19, 2008

Seldom see a bird here Judy. I think the gators have eaten most of the wild life in this area. I asked on a tour once Where are the snakes and the guide said the gators eat them. Bill #6199361

Bill Knaps July 19, 2008

Thank you Carla, Janet, Denny and April for your nice comments. I appreciate them and your support very much. Janet our winters have been too mild to completely kill the algae in the water. We had thick algae first time I visited this part of the bayou in the spring. The bayou is much cleaner towards Monroe. Bill #6199741

Morning Melodie and Melilla. Thanks for your nice comments. I appreciate them very much. Don't ever see anyone fishing in this part of the bayou. How would you like to be fishing here and a gator come snatch you out your boat from behind. Wouldn't that be a heck of a feeling just as you were casting and your bait hit the water. Hummmm Bill #6200573
