Bill, this is a beautiful image of this old "Southern Mansion. These old mansions are such a wonderful touch and reminder of the past. #6292903

Bill Knaps August 09, 2008

Thank you Shirley. I appreciate your nice comment very much. I love the old Mansions of the south. I am thankful ours were not burned. I asked why not on a tour and I was told it was a different Norther General that invaded our part of the south. You know those in Georgia have sued for war crimes and they are correct. Those soldiers had no right to burn homes and families like that General ordered. Bill #6293023

Amy E. Schneider August 29, 2008

Oh Bill I LOOOOOOVVVVEEE this portrait.
I'm a northern girl who loves the old southern homes. It breaks my heart to think of all the beautiful homes and families that were ruined. The plantations and old Mansions are so beautiful.....Thanks for letting me visit them from your photos...maybe someday I'll get to see them in person...I would love that.
Keep these beautiful houses coming...
I'm so glad I looked at your gallery.
