32 Hopeman Beach

Uploaded: June 26, 2008

Description

Hopeman Bay, Moray, Scotland. I love color so you can imagine my delight at finding this wonderful beach hut among a row of other equally jolly painted examples. I wanted it to look as incongruous and childlike as possible so I photographed it two dimensionally, head on, just like you would find in a nursery book or a child's drawing of a house and then made sure the backdrop was as unspectacular and bland as possible. Pentax 67II, 90-180 zoom, polariser, f/11 at 1/30 sec, Velvia.
