Marilyn, I agree with Kathy - I also really like your treatment of this image!! The colours are lovely here, and you have achieved a definite "artsy feel" to it!! The little bird is beautiful, too!! :o) #6003598Nancyj E. Hovey June 01, 2008
Marilyn, this is one of my favorites...it has that 'special' winner appeal. The composition, colors, treatments, are all perfect. The hummingbird feeder shows the wee size of this cute beautiful birdie. 8o) #6003617Marilyn Flanagan June 01, 2008

This is just beautiful, Marilyn! A wonderful capture and you've acheived a lovely artistic effect that looks almost like a delicate watercolor painting. #6264284Nancyj E. Hovey September 21, 2008

I guess I must finally print this one out, Nancy. It's been a long time since I have printed anything! Thanks for your kind words. #6483247Laura E. Swan January 09, 2009
Such Beauty and COLOR! WOW! I find birds just about the hardest thing to shoot. No matter how hard I try and how quiet I am or how long I sit there waiting, I end up scaring them off or that just aren't in good focus. When I see a beautiful shot of a bird like this one I quietly bow my head to you! -Laura :) #7007259Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
