Headed for the Clouds

Uploaded: May 22, 2008

Description

f1.8, ISO 200, 1/80, 50mm lens, Hot Air Balloon Sunrise Launch, Village Fest, Kannapolis, NC.

I loved the colors & the designs of the balloons!
The thought of enjoying an early morning flight over the area just as the sun was rising very much appealed to me. I think it would be really peaceful & give you a brand new POV of the world around you!

Exif: F Number: 5, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 1/320 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 100, FocalLength: 50.00 mm, Model: Canon EOS 20D

Gorgeous color captured here Michelle. Great perspective as well. I've always thought it would be fun to do a hot air balloon ride but I'm scared to death of heights. #926530

Thank you Marcie!

I've flown in a helicopter with the doors off & that was great! But there's just something about the hot air balloon I always wanted to find out what it was like.

As long as I don't feel like I'm going to fall I'm not afraid of heights.

I used to rock climb & I had a pretty wicked fall. (Blessed to still be here.) After that I was afraid of heights. Before that, I pretty much thought I was invincible & wasn't scared of heights.
Funny how things change!

Thanks for the comment! #5961772

There is certainly a sense of adventure and romance in Ballooning that gets my attention EVERY time that I see one of these magnificent balloons crossing the sky. Thanks for the crisp and colorful reminder! #5961828
