Her Passion and My Passion

Uploaded: May 16, 2008

Description

Her passion is swinging and my passion is capturing her and my other two kids.

I LOVE how this one turned out. I recieved a Canon 40D for Mother's Day. I was able to play with it once and although they turned out okay, I was still not happy with the sharpness even after sharpening them in PSE 5. So, finally we were able to get outside this evening (been a rainy and cold week for us) and I was able to play more. I changed the shapness setting and upped it and I really like the outcome!

ISO 250, 1/250, 5.6, handheld, taken 5-16-08 about 7 PM

I just LOVE how the setting sun is highlighting her hair!

All feedback, advice, and comments are welcome and appreciated! Thanks for looking!!
Have a GREAT weekend!

Also, does anyone know if you can properly calibrate a LCD monitor to match it with a online lab?

Exif: F Number: 5.6, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 1/250 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 250, White balance: Auto white balance, FocalLength: 50.00 mm, Model: Canon EOS 40D
