Why John, Thanks so very much.
We let it grow natural down there, don't disturb it.
It changes the look all year long with depending on whats blooming down there.
I like to go down and harass the Red Wing and listen to the bull frogs.
Very peacefull place for me to go.
The pond was supposed to be twice the size it is, but they never finsihed it.

Sue and Nadya, they are actually two geese, didn't want to get to close and chase them away.

Barbara, the pond is actually larger than in the photo, I was about half way down, there is another half. It is very long and this year it has more water and is bigger than last year.
The geese and ducks, have been coming more and more now. They were in the field tonight and I snuck around to where they were. I sat for a bit and snuck out a little at a time watching them. Then I stood up and started walking along the side of the field and they didn't even fly away, I was shocked. I was not that many yards away from them.
I need a bigger zoom LOL!
I think I need to raise some of my own ducks, the wild ones always fly away. #5883690
